Saints of God
1) Saints will love and sing praises to God.
Sing praise to the LORD, you saints of His, and give thanks at the
remembrance of His holy name. For His anger is but for a moment, His
favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the
morning. Psalms 30:4-5
Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints! For the LORD preserves the
faithful and fully repays the proud person. Be of good courage, and He
shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD. Psalms
31:23-24
And the heavens will praise Your wonders, O LORD; Your faithfulness
also in the assembly of the saints. For who in the heavens can be
compared to the LORD? Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened
to the LORD? God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints,
and to be held in reverence by all those around Him. Psalms 89:5-7
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said to
him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all
your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great
commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor
as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the
Prophets.” Matthew 22:36-40
Peace to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the
Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus
Christ in sincerity. Amen. Ephesians 6:23-24
2) God will be the Judge.
He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that He may
judge His people: “Gather My saints together to Me, those who have made
a covenant with Me by sacrifice.” Let the heavens declare His
righteousness, for God Himself is Judge. Psalms 50:4-6
And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on
their faces and worshiped God, saying: “We give You thanks, O Lord God
Almighty, the One who is and who was and who is to come, because You
have taken Your great power and reigned. The nations were angry, and
Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be
judged, and that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the
saints, and those who fear Your name, small and great, and should
destroy those who destroy the earth.” Revelation 11:16-18
Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face
the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for
them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and
books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of
Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things
which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in
it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And
they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades
were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone
not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 20:11-15
3) Grace and peace come from God or the Father and the Son.
I will hear what God the LORD will speak, for He will speak peace to
His people and to His saints; But let them not turn back to folly.
Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may
dwell in our land. Psalms 85:8-9
Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God,
and Sosthenes our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth, to
those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all
who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both
theirs and ours: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the
Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:1-3
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints who
are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace to you and peace
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:1-2
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our
brother, to the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are in
Colosse: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus
Christ. Colossians 1:1-2
4) Saints will return to the earth with Jesus Christ.
Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct
our way to you. And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love
to one another and to all, just as we do to you, so that He may
establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father
at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints. 1
Thessalonians 3:11-13
And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound
of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying,
“Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and
rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and
His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be
arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the
righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, “Write: Blessed are
those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” And he said
to me, “These are the true sayings of God.” And I fell at his feet to
worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your
fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus.
Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Now
I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him
was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes
war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many
crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was
clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of
God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean,
followed Him on white horses. Revelation 19:6-14
5) Saints will have a testimony of Jesus Christ.
“Therefore, whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess
before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men,
him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” Matthew
10:32-33
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your
heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you
confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that
God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart
one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made
unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will
not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and
Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For
“whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” Romans 10:8-13
We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting,
because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you
all abounds toward each other, so that we ourselves boast of you among
the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your
persecutions and tribulations that you endure, which is manifest
evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted
worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; since it is a
righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble
you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus
is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking
vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey
the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with
everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the
glory of His power, when He comes, on that Day, to be glorified in His
saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our
testimony among you was believed. 2 Thessalonians 1:3-10
Note: Are you a saint with a testimony of Jesus Christ?
6) Faith in Jesus Christ does not need to be restored or perverted.
Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with
Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no
more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He
died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives
to God. Likewise, you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin,
but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:8-11
For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless,
undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the
heavens; who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up
sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this
He did once for all when He offered up Himself. Hebrews 7:26-27
But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the
greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not
of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His
own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained
eternal redemption. Hebrews 9:11-12
Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and
offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which
are offered according to the law), then He said, “Behold, I have come
to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish
the second. By that will we have been sanctified through the offering
of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Hebrews 10:8-10
Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our
common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to
contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the
saints. For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were
marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of
our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus
Christ. Jude 1:3-4
Note: Salvation has been given “once for all” to mankind as a gift.
7) Prayers of the saints are before God.
There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of
what was called the Italian Regiment, a devout man and one who feared
God with all his household, who gave alms generously to the people, and
prayed to God always. About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in
a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, “Cornelius!” And
when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, “What is it, lord?” So,
he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial
before God. Now send men to Joppa and send for Simon whose surname is
Peter.” Acts 10:1-5
Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the
twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and
golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And
they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, and
to open its seals; For You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by
Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and
have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the
earth.” Revelation 5:8-10
When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about
half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to
them were given seven trumpets. Then another angel, having a golden
censor, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense that he
should offer with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar
which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the
prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.
Revelation 8:1-4
Note: Are you praying?
8) The anti-Christ will overcome the saints for three and half years.
“He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute
the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law.
Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and
half a time. But the court shall be seated, and they shall take away
his dominion, to consume and destroy it forever. Then the kingdom and
dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,
shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom
is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.”
Daniel 7:25-27
So, they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they
worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to
make war with him?” And he was given a mouth speaking great things and
blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two
months. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme
His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted
to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority
was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on
the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the
Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If
anyone has an ear, let him hear. He who leads into captivity shall go
into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the
sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. Revelation
13:4-10
9) The wrath of God will be poured out on faithless people.
For the LORD loves justice and does not forsake His saints; They are
preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off.
The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell in it forever. Psalms
37:28-29
Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone
worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead
or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of
God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation.
He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the
holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their
torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night,
who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of
his name.” Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep
the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Revelation 14:9-12
Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of
water, and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters
saying: “You are righteous, O Lord, the One who is and who was and who
is to be, because You have judged these things. For they have shed the
blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink.
For it is their just due.” Revelation 16:4-6
Note: Faithless people have been murdering saints throughout history.
10) Goddess worship has been a source of pagan religion.
So, he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a
woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy,
having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and
scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having
in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her
fornication. And on her forehead a name was written MYSTERY, BABYLON
THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood
of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great
amazement. Revelation 17:3-6
“Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for
God has avenged you on her!” Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a
great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence
the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found
anymore. The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists, and trumpeters
shall not be heard in you anymore. No craftsman of any craft shall be
found in you anymore, and the sound of a millstone shall not be heard
in you anymore. The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and
the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore.
For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery
all the nations were deceived. And in her was found the blood of
prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.”
Revelation 18:20-24
Note: Are you devoted to Mary? Are you focused on Rome?
11) Satan will be defeated in heaven and on earth.
And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the
dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail,
nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great
dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan,
who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels
were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,
“Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power
of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused
them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they
overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their
testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Therefore
rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants
of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having
great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” Revelation
12:7-12
Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from
his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four
corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle,
whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of
the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city.
And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. The devil,
who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where
the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and
night forever and ever. Revelation 20:7-10
12) Saints of God will inherit a kingdom after world empires have ended.
“I, Daniel, was grieved in my spirit within my body, and the visions of
my head troubled me. I came near to one of those who stood by and asked
him the truth of all this. So, he told me and made known to me the
interpretation of these things: ‘Those great beasts, which are four,
are four kings which arise out of the earth. But the saints of the Most
High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even
forever and ever.’” Daniel 7:15-18
When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who
then can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With
men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Then
Peter answered and said to Him, “See, we have left all and followed
You. Therefore, what shall we have?” So, Jesus said to them, “Assuredly
I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the
throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve
thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left
houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children
or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit
eternal life. Matthew 19:25-29
Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according
to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but
if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For
you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you
received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The
Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of
God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with
Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified
together. Romans 8:12-17
For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many
of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is
neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is
neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if
you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to
the promise. Galatians 3:26-29
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us
in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His
will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that
in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather
together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and
which are on earth—in Him. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance,
being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things
according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in
Christ should be to the praise of His glory. In Him you also trusted,
after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in
whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of
promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption
of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. Ephesians
1:7-14
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according
to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through
the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance
incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in
heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for
salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:3-5
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the
first earth had passed away. Also, there was no more sea. Then I, John,
saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice
from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He
will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be
with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from
their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There
shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Then He
who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He
said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” And He said
to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the
End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who
thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his
God, and he shall be My son. Revelation 21:1-7
Note: Our faith or belief in Jesus Christ overcomes the world.
Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone
who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. By this
we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His
commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His
commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is
born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has
overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he
who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:1-5
