Page 12: Jehovah created the earth to be the eternal home of a perfect human family enjoying endless life. (Ecclesiastes 1:4; Isaiah 45:12, 18)

Correction: This present earth will be destroyed.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

Page 12-13: The Chief Agent of salvation is Jesus Christ, who learned perfect obedience through the things he suffered while living as a man on the earth. (Hebrews 5:7-10) Jesus was the first to be begotten as a spiritual son of God.

Correction: Paul defines begotten as the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

Acts 13:33-35 "God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm: 'You are My Son, today I have begotten You.' "And that He raised Him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, He has spoken thus: 'I will give you the sure mercies of David.' "Therefore He also says in another Psalm: 'You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption.'"

Page 13: Jehovah used his holy spirit, or active force, to beget Jesus as his spiritual Son, in order to bring him to heavenly glory.

Correction: Jesus never had to become a spiritual Son.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Page 13: Says Luke's Gospel account: "When all the people were baptized, Jesus also was baptized and, as he was praying, the heaven was opened up and the holy spirit in bodily shape like a dove came down upon him, and a voice came out of heaven: 'You are my Son, the beloved; I have approved you.'" (Luke 3:21, 22) John saw the holy spirit come upon Jesus and heard Jehovah speak in open approval of him as His beloved Son. At that time and by holy spirit, Jehovah begot Jesus as the first of the 'many sons to be brought to glory.'

Correction: Baptism does not make you a spiritual son of God.

Galatians 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

Page 13: In vision, the apostle John saw them already in glory on heavenly Mount Zion with the Lamb, the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ. John also disclosed their number, saying: "I saw, and, look! the Lamb standing upon Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads...These were bought from among mankind as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb, and no falsehood was found in their mouths; they are without blemish." (Revelation 14:1-5) So the 'many sons brought to glory' in heaven total only 144,001 - Jesus and his spiritual brothers.

Correction: In heaven, no one will be able to number the 'many sons brought to glory.'

Revelation 4:2 Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.

Revelation 7:9-10 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"

Page 13: This "reproductive seed" is God's holy spirit. Working in conjunction with his word, it has given each of the 144,000 "a new birth" to a heavenly hope. - 1 Peter 1:3-5, 23.

Correction: The "new birth" is not limited to 144,000 people.

John 1:12-13 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Page 13: Jesus was God's Son from his human birth, even as the perfect man Adam was the "son of God." (Luke 1:35; 3:38)

Correction: Jesus was not God's Son only from his human birth.

Micah 5:2 "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting."

Correction: Jesus should not be compared to Adam since He created him.

Colossians 1:16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

Page 13: After Jesus' baptism, however, it was significant that Jehovah declared: "You are my Son, the beloved; I have approved you." (Mark 1:11) By this declaration accompanying the flow of holy spirit, it was clear that God then brought Jesus forth as His spiritual Son. As it were, Jesus was then given "a new birth" with the right to receive life once more as a spirit Son of God in heaven. Like him, his 144,000 spiritual brothers are "born again."

Correction: We are "born again" through our faith in Jesus Christ not baptism.

1 John 5:4-5 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world; our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Page 15-16: Paul's 'earnest desire' was to be resurrected to heaven as an immortal spirit creature. Referring to the human body, he used the metaphor of a collapsible tent, a fragile and temporary dwelling compared to a house. Though living on earth in a mortal, fleshly body, Christians who have the spirit as a token of coming heavenly life look forward to "a building from God," an immortal, incorruptible spirit body. (1 Corinthians 15:50-53)

Correction: True Christians will have incorruptible bodies in heaven.

1 Corinthians 15:42-44 So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Definition of body: The material part or nature of a human being. Webster's Dictionary.

Page 16: At observances of the Lord's Evening Meal, therefore, only the relatively few remaining anointed ones yet on the earth partake of the bread, representing Jesus' sinless human body, and the wine, signifying his perfect blood poured out in death and validating the new covenant.

Correction: Jesus Christ wants you to partake of His Evening Meal.

John 6:51 "I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world."

Page 17: The first application of Jesus' ransom sacrifice makes it possible for 144,000 to be called to heavenly life and chosen by being spirit-begotten by God.

Correction: The promise of heavenly life is to everyone who is called by God.

Acts 2:39 "For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."

Page 17: To be brought to glory, of course, they have to 'do their utmost to make their calling and choosing sure,' and they must prove faithful to death.

Correction: One must have sincere faith like that of a child to enter the Kingdom of God.

Mark 10:14-15 But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, "Let the little children come to Me, and forbid them not; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it."

Page 17: The small remnant of anointed ones yet on earth are maintaining their integrity though opposed by "ten kings" that depict all the political powers. "These will battle with the Lamb," said an angel, "but, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, the Lamb will conquer them."

Note: Jesus Christ will physically return to the earth and conquer all the political powers.

Matthew 24:29-30 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."

Zechariah 14:3-4 Then the LORD will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle. And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south.

Page 17: Jehovah gave his only-begotten Son as a ransom sacrifice that opened the way to heavenly life for 144,000 humans and eternal earthly prospects for the rest of mankind.

Note: Jesus Christ warns false teachers about keeping people from heaven.

Matthew 23:13 "But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in."

Page 17: As noted in the preceding article, Jesus' sacrifice for spirit-begotten Christians was typified when Israel's high priest sacrificed a bull as a sin offering for himself, his household, and the tribe of Levi on the annual Day of Atonement.

Correction: A bull was offered as a sacrifice for only Aaron and his household.

Leviticus 16:6 "Aaron shall offer the bull as a sin offering, which is for himself, and make atonement for himself and for his house."

Page 18: Revelation 21:1-4 points to the time when 'death, mourning, outcry, and pain will be no more.' Since this is a promise to "mankind," it assures us that a new earthly society of humans living under Kingdom rule will experience restoration of mind and body to full health and everlasting life as earthly "children of God."

Correction: Jesus Christ will rule the earth on the earth.

Zechariah 6:12-13 "Then speak to him, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, saying: "Behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH! From His place He shall branch out, and He shall build the temple of the LORD; Yes, He shall build the temple of the LORD. He shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule on His throne; So He shall be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.'"

Revelation 21:2-3 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God."

Page 19: God began 'to bring many sons to glory' with the outpouring of holy spirit at Pentecost 33 C.E., and he apparently set a time for completing the spiritual "Israel of God" totaling 144,000. (Hebrews 2:10; Galatians 6:16; Revelation 7:1-8)

Correction: The "Israel of God" represents believing Jews.

Galatians 6:16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them (believing Gentiles), and upon the Israel of God (believing Jews).

Page 20: Particularly since 1931 have those with the earthly hope been associating with the Christian congregation. In that year, Jehovah enlightened the remnant of spirit-begotten Christians to see that Ezekiel chapter 9 refers to this earthly class, who are being marked for survival into God's new world.

Correction: It is related to the marked 144,000 for survival from the wrath of God on the earth.

Revelation 7:2-4 Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, "Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads." And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:

Page 20: In 1932 it was concluded that such present-day sheeplike ones were prefigured by Jehu's associate Jonadab (Jehonadab). (2 Kings 10:15-17) In 1934 it was made clear that "Jonadabs" should "consecrate," or dedicate, themselves to God.

Note: Is it not strange that anointed ones would be liked to one who disobeys God?

2 Kings 10:31 But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the LORD God of Israel with all his heart; for he did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam, who had made Israel sin.

Page 20: In 1935 the "great multitude," or "great crowd" - formerly thought to be a secondary spiritual class that would be "companions" of the bride of Christ in heaven - was identified as other sheep having an earthly hope. (Revelation 7: 4-15; 21: 2, 9; Psalm 45:14, 15)

Correction: The Gentiles or "other sheep" will be in the same flock as the believing Jews.

John 10:16 "And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd."

Page 20: And especially since 1935 have anointed ones been spearheading a search for upright people yearning to live forever on a paradise earth.

Correction: True Christians point people to Jesus Christ and the heavenly hope.

Ephesians 2:4-7 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Page 20: Suppose an anointed one became unfaithful. Would there be a replacement? Paul indicated as much in his discussion of the symbolic olive tree. (Romans 11:11-32) If a spirit-begotten one needs to be replaced, likely God would give the heavenly calling to someone whose faith had been exemplary in rendering sacred service to him for many years.

Correction: The discussion of Romans 11:11-32 centers on God still having a plan for the Jews.

Romans 11:25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

Page 20-21: To his pre-Christian witnesses, Jehovah gave the splendid hope of a resurrection to everlasting life on the earth. For instance, Abraham had faith in the resurrection and awaited "the city having real foundations" - the heavenly Kingdom under which he will be resurrected to earthly life. (Hebrews 11:10; 17-19) Once again, in this time of the end, God is granting millions the hope of everlasting life on a paradise earth. (Luke 23:43; John 17:3)

Correction: True Christians desire to be in heaven.

Hebrews 11:13-16 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.

Page 21: Jehovah imparts his holy spirit as a gift to his people. Christians given a heavenly hope are anointed with holy spirit. (1 John 2:20; 5:1-4, 18) Yet, God's servants having earthly prospects have the spirit's help and guidance.

Correction: There is no partiality with God.

Acts 10:45 And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.

Page 22: But all of us should remember that the Scriptures do not command us to partake of Memorial emblems to show our gratitude for Christ's ransom sacrifice.

Correction: Jesus Christ does command everyone to partake!

Matthew 26:27 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "{Drink from it, all of you."

John 6:54 " Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."
