Note: Sidney Rigdon copied the old King James Version including words not found in the original Hebrew. These words have been italicized in the New King James Version and were added by the King James translators for English thought clarity. Accordingly, Sidney Rigdon was no language expert and the Book of Mormon is not Holy Scripture.

Note: Mormons think they will be just like God in the fullest sense.

Becoming "perfect" is equivalent to obtaining an exaltation in the highest degree of the celestial kingdom. "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect," taught the Savior. To do so entails becoming like God, in the fullest sense of the word. Saviors on Mount Zion, Archibald F. Bennett, 1950.

Note: Satan thought he could be just like God in the fullest sense in verses 12 through 14.
