1) True Christians will place their faith and love in Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 1:13 Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
2) It is necessary for people to sincerely love Jesus Christ to obtain grace.
Ephesians 6:24 Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
3) It is necessary for people to love Jesus Christ to avoid being accursed of God.
1 Corinthians 16:22 If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed.
4) A true relationship with God is loving Jesus Christ.
John 14:21 "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him."
1) It is a commandment for Christians to share with others in need.
1 John 3:17-18 But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
2) Christians should show concern for others without partiality.
Luke 10:33-34 "But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him."
Luke 10:37 Then Jesus said to him, "Go and do likewise."
3) Helping others is the same as serving Jesus.
Matthew 25:34-36 "Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.'"
4) True religion is showing concern for others in need.
James 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
